Hi everyone! I’m Catie, also known as Caitlin. Caitlin Marie if I’m in trouble. I’m a 22 year old, housewife-slash-student living in Indiana. I married my highschool sweetheart, Branden, on Halloween 2009. We’ve been a couple since I was a junior in high school. (Branden is an old man, turning 25 this year. (: )

My husband and I recently purchased our first home. It’s a perfect little bungalow with plenty of space for us, our three cats, and some kiddos. We are battling infertility caused by PCOS as we try to conceive baby number 1. We are hoping that with treatment, we will be able to conceive within the next year or so.

I enjoy fun stuff like photography, cooking, and reading. I’m also pretty in-tune with my child like side, so coloring and playing video games are pretty high on my “awesome stuff” list. I have been told that I’m hilarious, but I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

I’m a lover of all things crunchy related. I will be a cloth diapering, breastfeeding, babywearing, co-sleeping mama. We’re also planning a midwife attended home birth when we finally conceive. I believe strongly that home birth is right for low-risk women when attended by a skilled nurse-midwife.

I am a wealth of researched knowledge on the topics of breastfeeding and cloth diapering. I could also find you the best slings and baby wraps or teach you how to make your own. I’m very excited to finally have my own child to put into practice what I’ve learned.
